PH auto dealers group Apr. 2026 YTD sales breach 133K-unit mark

MANILA: Sales of the Philippine Automotive Dealers Association (PADA) for the first four months of 2026 has reached breached the 133,000-unit mark.

Based on its tally, the group collectively retailed 133,675 vehicles in January-April 2026—with last month’s performance reaching 26,682. 

Providing the biggest churn is commercial vehicle segment with 106,855 and the remaining 5,974 units sold coming from the passenger car segment.

The same record showed that Toyota and Mitsubishi are still the two leading automotive brands in the country as their sales are at 66,206, and 24,695, respectively.

Taking the third spot in the PADA leaderboard is Suzuki with 6,289 vehicles handed over to clients while Nissan had 5,323 units delivered to buyers. Ford secured the fifth place with 4,877 units sold.

Meanwhile, Honda—which sat at the fifth place in the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated power rankings for the first quarter of 2026—went down two slots with 4,415 units sold. Ahead of the Japanese automaker is Isuzu with 4,485 vehicles.

MG (Morris Garages)—which sold 2,707 vehicles for the first four months of 2026—placed eighth in the top-selling brands under PADA, while Kia and Hyundai rounded up the Top 10 with 2,354 and 2,332 units respectively. 

Notably, BYD sales are not included in the tally sheet.
