Queen Elizabeth ditches Land Rover, Bentley Bentayga becomes new hot favorite

MANILA: Yes, you read it right. Queen of England, her highness has picked up a new hot wheel that will be stationed to take her hunting and deer stalking expeditions across her Scottish estate. Bentley's new Bentayga that was recently showcased at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show is the lucky one to serve the Queen, making her iconic green Land Rover jealous.

Also, she is the first consumer booked for Bentayga the “most powerful and exclusive sports utility vehicle in the world”. Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer confirmed the news at Frankfurt saying, “We have reserved the number one car for her.” So, now the queen process three Bentley cars in total, first is a Bentley State Limousine, second being the Bentley Mulsanne and the latest one being this 4x4 bold and stylish SUV.

But it was not an easy journey to get itself parked in the Queens garage. The high-end luxury vehicle had to undergo testing rounds in the rugged Aberdeenshire terrain of her Balmoral estate before it was ticked all OK. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine, the car generates 608 PS of maximum power and 900 Nm of peak torque. Also, it sprints from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 301 km/h.

Bentley Bentayga has yet to arrive in the showrooms and it has already run out of stock in its every first year of the debut. Bentley has deposit-paid orders for the first full year, which means that if today you order it, there is no chance you'll get it before 2017. In addition, to its stunning outer looks, it also houses some luxurious interiors that include leather seats that features stitching and quilted diamond design.

Nothing like telling, but to be a bit more informative we would like to tell you that the car is priced a bit high from the normal cars available in the market. Starting from a mountain high PhP 11,589,299 the range increases to PhP 21,630,465. With an average of 3000-4500 Bentayga(s) built in a year, we have to see how the company is able to fill this high demand.
