Registrations Open For 2016 Subaru Palm Challenge: Philippines Face-Off

MANILA: Want to own a Subaru XV 2.0i but can't afford it? Don't worry, Subaru has got an enticing competition which can make you a proud owner of this competent drive for no cost from your pocket. Well, Subaru Philippines has brought its Subaru Palm Challenge back for this year with 2016 XV 2.0i as the grand prize. Sounds exciting, isn't it? The latest edition of Palm Challenge: Philippines Face Off will be held between August and September 2016 and divided into 3 separate legs.

How To Register

 

Interested candidates can log on to the official registration page and submit their candidature for the 2016 Subaru Palm Challenge: Philippine Face-Off. Also, the registrations can be submitted at the Subaru Philippines' showrooms located in Davao, Cebu, Batangas, Alabang, BGC, Manila Bay and Greenhills.

Eligibility

The organizer is very strict about the eligibility criteria and has made it crystal clear that if any participant found forging or manipulation the eligibility criteria, the participation would be immediately canceled and the participant would have to bear all the expenses. Subaru Philippines has insisted that the minimum age of the participant should be 18 years as of January 2016 and s/he should be in a good condition. A medical examination of the participants on behalf of the company or a medical certificate by a registered practitioner to certify good health may be asked during registration. The participants should also hold a valid Philippines passport which has to be produced when asked by the organizers.

3 Legs – 3 Locations

As mentioned earlier, this Subaru Palm Challenge: Philippine Face-off will have 3 legs to shortlist the participants for the finale. The 3 locations for these legs are -

Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City (BCG), Taguig on 14th August 2016

Ayala Centre, Cebu City on 3rd September 2016

SM Lanang Premier, Davao City on 24th September 2016

Decoding the Palm Challenge

As the challenge sounds, the participants would have to place their palm on a specific area of a Subaru drive with a palm-shaped sticker. To win the contest, the participant should not move his/her palm or even a finger. The last person holding on to the sticker will be declared the winner of the contest.

Choosing The Winner

From the 3 legs, Subaru Philippines would take the top 8 from Metro Manila and the winners of Cebu and Davao city legs to Singapore where these 10 would club as one team to compete against the participants from other Asian countries like – Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The last person amongst all to endure the challenge will be declared the winner.

Prizes on Stake

A brand new Subaru XV 2.0i worth PhP 1,298,000 will be awarded to the winner of the contest. However, this is not the only prize and other participants can also grab some merchandise and cash prizes in different categories. The country to survive the longest in this contest will also stand a chance to win a cash prize.
