Singapore Motorshow to return in January 2023

MANILA: The Singapore Motorshow, the biggest motoring event in Singapore, will be held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition from January 12 to 15, 2023. This will be the seventh Singapore Motorshow presented by Motor Traders Association of Singapore (MTA) and Mediacorp. This year, the four-day event will take place on the third and fourth floors of the Suntec Convention Hall, with over 50,000 visitors expected. The Singapore Motorshow 2023 promises to be more than just your average car show, with a lineup of exciting activities for all ages, including the legendary Russ Swift stunt show, meet-and-greets with celebrities, first looks at the latest electric vehicle models, and a chance to win a brand-new Subaru or Nissan.

“There is an exhilarating thrill in the air for the SG Motorshow 2023 — we cannot wait for car brands to return and unveil brand new cars that will transform the automotive industry. This year, we see a large increase in electrified vehicles like hybrids and electric vehicle models, helping to accelerate the shift to creating a greener, more sustainable transportation sector in Singapore,” MTA President Glenn Tan stated.

Visitors to the motor show can look forward to seeing brand-new models, including electric vehicles and electrified models. 24 automotive brands will be participating, including Alpine, Audi, BMW, BYD, Citroen, Ducati, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Lotus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Mini, Nissan, Peugeot, Polestar, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo. Joining the motor show for the first time, Polestar will debut its concept car. Exhibitors will also display lifestyle products and vehicle accessories. These activities are perfect for car enthusiasts, families, and couples looking for an exciting day out.

The return of three-time Guinness World Record holder and renowned British precision driver Russ Swift is a major highlight of the event. A variety of legendary, thrilling stunts will be performed everyday, including Swift Parking, J-turns, Donut moves, dance routines, and more. Some lucky visitors will even get the chance to join Swift in his spectacular stunts.

Tickets may be purchased at Suntec Singapore Concourse L3 for S$12 (approximately P500) for preview tickets and S$8 (approximately P330) for general public tickets. Tickets are free of charge for children below 1.2 meters.  Beginning on December 1, general public tickets will also be sold on SISTIC's website and mobile app with an extra S$1.20 booking fee.
