Suzuki is 3rd best-selling auto brand in PH

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) celebrates a new sales milestone as it emerged as the third best-selling brand in the Philippine automotive industry.

Most recent industry data revealed that Suzuki attained a constant growth in sales over the past year, despite the challenges that were faced by the Philippine economy amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Leading Suzuki’s automobile sales for the first half of 2021 is the Suzuki Carry, which contributed 19.9% of the brand’s sales. It was followed by the stylish yet practical Suzuki Ertiga, which contributed 19.6%, and the sought-after Suzuki Dzire, which contributed 18.4%.

In a statement, SPH Vice President and Suzuki Automobile General Manager Keiichi Suzuki said, “Suzuki’s continued growth is a testament of our brand’s mission of expanding our reach for more people to experience what the 'Suzuki Way of Life' is all about. SPH shall continue in its pursuit of finding avenues to provide Filipinos with the best quality driving experience that only Suzuki can provide.”

SPH promises to provide the same level of offers and services for the second half of the year. This July, the company launched its Ride Your Dream promo that gives away cash discounts of up to P90,000 on select models. The Auto Festival Event has also made its physical comeback in select malls nationwide. Loyal customers can also look forward to more dealership openings across the country this year.
