Suzuki PH to conduct 2-day Auto Festival in SM MOA this weekend

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) is set to bring its Auto Festival at the SM Mall of Asia this weekend for two days of cars, games, prizes and fun.

In a statement, the Japanese compact car distributor’s local arm shared that the roadshow upcoming leg will take place this coming Saturday and Sunday (August 29–30) at the SM Mall of Asia Central Atrium on, from 10 a.m. until to 10 p.m.

During the two-day event, SPH will showcase the following models:

• Jimny 3-door with Suzuki Safety Support
• Dzire Hybrid
• XL7 Hybrid Black Edition
• All-new Fronx Hybrid
• All-new eVitara

To boost excitement, guests can enjoy the interactive games with prizes up for grabs. Children can also go to the Suzuki Safety Scout, where they can learn basic road safety and environmental protection through fun and engaging activities.

Further, eventgoers who inquire, apply, or reserve an all-new Suzuki Fronx or Dzire Hybrid during the event will be given a P10,000 discount, on top of the existing promotions, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Those who are qualified to pre-order an all-new Fronx GL AT will also receive a Suzuki Genuine Accessory Luggage Mat Tray and Tire Valve Cap Set, while supplies last.

Latest Suzuki model in PH

The latest model SPH launched for the local market is the eVitara, an all-electric crossover that shares a platform with the Toyota Urban Cruiser

At launch, the Suzuki eVitara retails at P2.02 million for its sole variant. Propelling the model is a single permanent-magnet synchronous motor paired with a 61-kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery. 

For its powertrain output, the eVitara for the local market can produce up to 172 horsepower and 193 Newton-meters of torque. It also has a range of 475 kilometers. 

In recent real-world economy trials conducted in partnership with the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP), the Suzuki eVitara returned a fuel-equivalent consumption rating of 87.22 kilometers per liter of gasoline. The aforementioned translates to an energy consumption rate of 9.8 kilometers per kilowatt-hour.

Inside the Suzuki eVitara is a modern cockpit that is equipped with seamlessly integrated dual displays, a double-decker floating center console, a rotary shift knob, and a two-spoke steering wheel. 

Other notable amenities available for this EV include leatherette seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, front seat ventilation, and a 40:20:40 split-folding second row.

The main display of the model is a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is linked to a six-piece Infinity sound system.
