The Geely Coolray now comes in Sunburst Gold and Cloud Blue

MANILA: Two new colors are available with the Geely Coolray: Sunburst Gold and Cloud Blue. The gold color is exclusive to the Coolray Sport Limited, while the blue hue comes with the Coolray Premium and Comfort only. 

Since its introduction, the Coolray has come with five exterior color options: Vermillion (Red), White, Silver, and Orange (for Sport and Sport Limited variants), and Blue (for the Premium and Comfort variants).

Local Geely distributor Sojitz G Auto Philippines described the Coolray as "sporty, cool, and fun," SGAP also boasted that the model has sold 2,690 units year-to-date (as of November), leading the two-wheel-drive subcompact SUV segment with 35% market share.

For the recently launched Coolray Sport Limited variant, it is equipped with three key features: 18-inch black turbine-inspired wheels, power tailgate with height memory adjustment, and ventilated front seats with three-level air supply intensity, which can be independently adjusted to the driver or passenger’s liking.

Under the hood, all Coolray variants are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged direct injection engine, which is paired with a seven-speed wet type dual clutch transmission. 

“The additional features and color options we recently introduced for the Coolray is our way of telling everyone that we will never stop improving and bringing fun back in driving,” SGAP President and CEO Yosuke Nishi boasted in a release.
