Toyota PH: No additional premiums needed to reserve LC300

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) reminds customers who are eager to buy the recently unveiled Land Cruiser 300 series that no additional premiums are required for reservations or purchases of this sports utility vehicle (SUV).

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What caused the supply and demand imbalance for the Toyota LC300?

The global parts supply shortage due to the COVID-19 pandemic has intensified the supply and demand imbalance for this long-awaited model.
  • Will the pricing be consistent nationwide?

Yes, customers should expect consistent pricing whether they buy in Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao.
  • The global parts supply shortage in the manufacturing sector caused by the COVID-19 pandemic did not spare the production of the new LC300. This has intensified the supply and demand imbalance for this long-awaited model. Global demand for the LC300 has continued to rise since its launch in 2021, resulting in longer wait times for fans in the country.

In a statement, TMP Senior Vice President for Marketing, New Mobility, and Vehicle Logistics Jose Maria Atienza said, “We are thankful for the incredible reception of the Filipino customers to the new Land Cruiser. We appreciate your patience and understand your eagerness to get hold of this global favorite. We are asking for your understanding as we work hard to serve your requirements at the soonest possible time.”

Due to a global supply shortage affecting LC300 availability, Filipino customers who make reservations at Toyota dealerships across the country would have to wait many months for a unit. Customers should expect consistent pricing whether they buy in Luzon, Metro Manila, Visayas, or Mindanao, according to TMP's “One Suggested Retail Price Nationwide” campaign.

“We do apologize for the inconvenience, and rest assured we are doing what we can to deliver the vehicles the soonest, to make our customers feel that it’s all worth the wait. We thank you for your continued trust and patronage,” Atienza added.

For inquiries, send an email to TMP’s Customer Assistance Center at customerassistance@toyota.com.ph or call (02) 8819 2912.
