Zeekr previews 7X at Malaysia Auto Show 2025, is PH next?

MANILA: Zeekr has previewed the 7X mid-size electric sport utility vehicle at the ongoing Malaysia Auto Show 2025.

There, it will be offered in three variants, namely RWD (rear-wheel drive) Standard, RWD Long Range, and AWD (all-wheel drive) Performance.

Exterior

Outside, the Zeekr 7X wears a futuristic-looking set of headlamps, which feature LEDs that can display messages and images.

Its side profile is highlighted by frameless doors with flush handles. And like any proper SUV, it wears blacked-out claddings all around.

At the back, it boasts a discreet spoiler, long horizontal taillights, a clean-looking tailgate, and reflectors on each side of the bumper.

Interior

The Zeekr 7X presented at the said auto show appears to be fitted with a large infotainment system paired with a digital instrument cluster.

Its dashboard looks neat and seems to be leaning towards a minimalist styling. Meanwhile, two wireless charging docks are noticeable on its center console.

Some leather with contrasting stitching can be seen on its multi-functional steering wheel.

Powertrain

Propelling the previewed model is an 800-volt electric vehicle (EV) system that can send the mid-size SUV from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.8 seconds.

The said electric drive can provide its would-be owners up to 600 kilometers of emissions-free driving.

Is PH next?

According to Zeekr Southeast Asia Managing Director Alex Bao, the 7X has been shown to Singaporean and Thai auto enthusiasts and has received an “overwhelmingly positive” response.

On that note, the mid-size electric SUV could also entice Filipino EV adopters who are eager to experience a sustainable means of mobility.
