Zigwheels weekly wrap: Nov. 10-14

MANILA: Last week, the local automotive scene continued to stay abuzz with vehicle launches as well as confirmation of future models. And since the holidays are up, many car brands look to bolster sales with enticing promos for those looking to drive home a brand-new ride. 

Here is last week’s biggest motoring news: 

Ford Ranger SE 

Ford Motor Company Philippines expanded its Special Edition lineup with the release of the Ranger Wildtrak and Raptor models in the said trim levels. 

These vehicles are limited to only 100 samples each. 

BMW 750e xDrive PHEV

BMW Philippines has rolled out the new 750e xDrive plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV), touted as a vehicle that embodies the pinnacle of the brand’s innovation. 

Toyota Hilux, bZ4X 

Toyota Motor Philippines has confirmed the arrival of the latest iteration of the Hilux pickup truck by next year. The said model was launched not too long ago in Thailand. 

On the other hand, the company also confirmed that the incoming Toyota bZ4X electric vehicle will be coming from Japan. The said statement reinforces the growing interest the model has among local enthusiasts. 

Mitsubishi Destinator 

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation has opened up reservations for the Destinator, which is set to be released sometime this week. 

Available in three variants, the new nameplate carries styling and design elements first offered by the Mitsubishi XForce. 

Suzuki Raider R150 

Bolstering the Raider R150 lineup, Suzuki Philippines Incorporated has launched two new versions of the underbone motorcycle — the Raider R150 Blade Edition and Raider R150 Pro. 

Notably, the new motorbikes offer improved technology and sharper looks. 

Kawasaki ATV, SBS

Kawasaki Philippines also revealed new products that expand its all-terrain vehicles (ATV) and side-by-side models.
