Mitsubishi Motors PH opens pre-order period for Destinator

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has started the reservation period for the all-new Destinator ahead of its official launch set next week.

Per the Japanese automaker’s local arm, early adopters of the seven-seater sport utility vehicle (SUV) may pre-order a unit beginning today at introductory prices starting at P1.289 million.

Aside from that, MMPC revealed that the soon-to-be-unveiled model will come in three trims namely GLX Turbo, GLS Turbo, and GT Turbo.

To celebrate its arrival, customers who pre-ordered and had their vehicle released not later than January 31, 2026 will also receive Destinator Adventure Gear merchandise.

Additionally, MMPC is also extending Launch Event Promo exclusively for customers who will place reservation during the four-day launch event at Ayala Malls Manila Bay between November 20–23, 2025 and release their unit on or before January 31, 2026.

Qualified customers will receive an additional P5,000-cash discount on top of the introductory price promo.

Here are some initial details about the Philippine-spec all-new Mitsubishi Destinator.

Vehicle specifications

As seen in the Land Transportation Office records, the vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter 4B40 turbocharged gasoline mill, which are expected to provide churns of up to:

Power is sent to the front wheels via a continuous variable transmission.

Further, the all-new Mitsubishi Destinator will likely have MacPherson struts (front suspension and a torsion beam (rear) for its suspension setup and disc brakes for its stopping power.

On paper, the all-new Mitsubishi Destinator is slightly smaller compared to the highly-appreciated Montero Sport as the former measures 4,680 millimeters (mm) long, 1,840 mm wide, and 1,780 mm tall.

Design wise, the vehicle looks like a blown-up version of the Mitsubishi Xforce as expressed in the front and rear fascia — especially in terms of its illumination system.
