Back then, MMPC President Ritsu Imaeda already revealed that the global automotive marque is already considering the Philippines as one of its key markets for the vehicle.
Such a probability is still high, considering that the timeline for the Mitsubishi Destinator’s rollout for the Southeast Asian market will be until March next year.
Photo by Juan Paulo Papa“The Mitsubishi DST Concept is an embodiment of an all-new three-row SUV to be launched during our current mid-term business plan Challenge 2025, and the production vehicle will be rolled out primarily in the ASEAN region including the Philippines starting in fiscal year 2025,” Mitsubishi Motors President and Chief Executive Officer Takao Kato was quoted as saying in a previous statement.
The aforementioned model serves as the third global strategic model born in Indonesia, following the Xpander crossover MPV and the Xforce compact SUV.
