1.3k riders join 2025 One Suzuki Big Ride Luzon leg

MANILA: Over 1,300 riders have shown up to attend the 2025 One Suzuki Big Ride Luzon Leg, which was held in conjunction with Suzuki Philippines Incorporated’s (SPH) celebration of its 50th year in the local market. 

“We’ve gathered more than 1,300 riders. Last year, we did this as a campaign for motorcycle safety, and it started as the ‘Raider Big Ride’. Now, one Suzuki na (it is now One Suzuki), so we are including all other Motorcycle models,” SPH Motorcycle Communications Group Head Edelyn Yanilla said. 

“Not only does the One Suzuki Big Ride celebrate SPH’s 50th anniversary, but it also creates a loud statement to advocate road safety,” Yanilla added. 

The aforementioned parade of motorcycles and their riders started at the Suzuki Cyclemar 3S shop on 10th Avenue, Caloocan City, passed through EDSA, and concluded at Block 16 of the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Pasay City. 

The participants of the said motorcycle motorcade comprised various riding clubs all over Luzon, each with their preferred Suzuki nameplate. Apart from a mix of Suzuki-made big bikes, some models that made an appearance at the most recent 2025 One Suzuki Big Ride include, but are not limited to:

• Raider 150 Fi and Carb
• Burgman Street 125 EX, Burgman Street
• Various Gixxer models
• V-Strom 250SX

Additionally, SPH held a short program and a brief motorcycle safety lecture at the Matsuri Village display inside SM Mall of Asia. 

At the aforementioned program, riders also managed to take home various freebies, participate in fun games, and try their luck in a grand raffle contest with prizes ranging from riding gear and motorcycle aftermarket parts to the grand prize: a brand-new Suzuki V-Strom 250SX. 

To note, the 2025 One Suzuki Big Ride, which concluded at SM Mall of Asia, is the Luzon Leg, which follows the Visayas leg held last May. The next one, of course, will be held in Mindanao, with its scheduled dates to be announced soon by SPH. 

Matsuri Village

To further highlight SPH’s 50th anniversary in the country, it likewise deployed the Matsuri Village at SM Mall of Asia. 

For people who missed it, the multi-product display showed off the latest and greatest automobiles, motorcycles, and marine engines from the Japanese brand’s local arm. 

Front and center at the mall display is the preview of the Suzuki Fronx, SPH’s upcoming subcompact hybrid crossover, unveiled on the first day of SPH’s Matsuri Village. Also showcased are the Suzuki Jimny, XL7 Hybrid, and Dzire Hybrid. 

On the motorcycle side, eventgoers had the opportunity to see in the metal the Hayabusa, GSX-S1000GT, V-Strom 800 DE, V-Strom 1050 DE, and Burgman 400 - among others. 

Moreover, the brand also provided test drive opportunities at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds for its lineup of vehicles. The program concluded with more fun games and performances by various celebrities.
