Honda to launch 2024 XL750 Transalp in US next month

MANILA: American Honda has confirmed that the 2024 XL750 Transalp will be launched in the United States (US) in October.

  • The Transalp, which first went on sale in 1986, has a long history in the adventure category and is well known for its on- and off-road capabilities. Having the same character, the new-generation Transalp has become popular in the European market.

    Equipped with a high-performance, twin-cylinder Unicam engine, the 2024 Honda XL750 Transalp is perfect for long-distance trips. There are five available riding modes: Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and a rider-customizable setting. The XL750 Transalp also comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control and throttle-by-wire technology.

    For better handling, the Honda XL750 Transalp is fitted with 21-inch (in) front and 18in rear wheels. The long-travel front suspension and Pro-Link rear suspension ensures solid on- and off-road performance.

    The XL750 Transalp is equipped with a full-color LCD multi-information dash display with four display options. This gives information on motorcycle speed, engine speed, fuel level, engine mode, trip distance, gear position, engine braking level, anti-lock braking system, and more.

    Under the passenger seat is a USB-C port where riders can charge their mobile devices while on the road.

    Honda will be offering accessory collections for the all-new XL750 Transalp, which include Adventure, Touring, City, and Comfort options.

    The 2024 Honda XL750 Transalp is available in Matte Black Metallic. It is priced at $9,999 (approximately P567,000).

    Honda also announced the upcoming launch of the 2023 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP in the US market. The powerful inline-four-cylinder engine, superior electronic suspension, and cutting-edge rider aids of the Fireblade SP made it win the last two editions of the Suzuki 8 Hours endurance race.
