The TVS iQube 2.2 is an all-electric scooter. The aforementioned was brought to light by a new memorandum circular that was published by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) on its website.
As of this publishing, however, TVS’s local distributor has made no announcements as to when this ride will officially enter the market. Additionally, the brand's local arm has yet to disclose a complete list of features and specifications for the model.
It was stated by the LTO memorandum (MVL-2026-5020), however, that the iQube 2.2 qualifies for incentives afforded to electric vehicles (EV) as stated on the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA).
On the one hand, the model has been classified by the LTO under the L3 category. So, with consideration for safety, it is prohibited from running on toll roads/expressways
