Suzuki offers new accessory packs for 2020 V-Strom 1050 lineup

MANILA: Even before the arrival of the V-Strom 1050 in showrooms this year, Suzuki just announced three accessory packs for the 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050 lineup. The accessory packs are focused on different riding types: city riding, touring, and adventuring.

According to Suzuki Great Britain’s motorcycle marketing manager, Ian Bland, the accessory packs are in line for customers’ clamor for personalizing their bikes, stating, “we know a lot of owners want to add a personal touch or tailor their V-Strom to their specific needs, and by offering three different accessory packs that is now not only easier but also more affordable, too. The packs can also be fitted at the point of sale, meaning they can be included in any finance deal and benefit from the same three-year warranty we offer across our range.”

The V-Strom 1050 line is driven by a powerful V-Twin engine that can deliver 107.4 Ps of output and can clock in 57.65 miles per gallon. This bike is built for adventure without compromising safety with its systems of safety features to help the rider navigate any tough terrain. And to make it truly yours, Suzuki offers accessory packs to highlight your riding preferences.

The Explore accessory pack includes aluminum panniers and a top box, crash bars, an aluminum skid plate, heated grips, and LED fog lamps that can be fitted to both 1050XT and base 1050 V-Strom. The Explore pack will set you back Php 165,428 (£2,499). The Tour accessory pack has aluminum panniers and top box for around Php 86,000 (£1,299). The City accessory pack has a 55-liter top box and a center stand for only Php 46, 272 (£699).

All three accessory packs can be installed upon purchase from the dealership. So, if you are looking forward to personalizing your V-Strom, better buy it in packs as it will save you more money than buying individual accessories. But don’t get too excited just yet, the new accessory packs for the 2020 V-Strom 1050 lineup is only available in the UK for now.
