According to the brand, it will open retail stores in 2027.Per the Vietnamese electric car manufacturer, its international business strategy includes expansion to key markets, namely the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Thailand, and Malaysia.
Under the said plan, VinFast will introduce a portfolio of battery-swapping e-scooters, including the VinFast Flazz, Evo, Feliz II, and Viper, alongside additional new models to be launched in due course.
Each product, it noted, is carefully adapted to local usage conditions, mobility patterns, and consumer preferences in individual markets.

We have conducted in-depth market research, worked closely with local partners, and developed comprehensive plans for dealer network expansion, product portfolios, and service ecosystems. PH as an important market
VinFast sees the Philippines as an important market and a strategic region that will play an important role in its e-scooter expansion journey.
The company has partnered with five leading dealers across Luzon and Mindanao, which are Maverick Racing Factory Incorporated, MotorCentral, New Nemar Development Corp., Supremebike Corporation, and ARC Trading.
Its partners are well-established, experienced players with clear commitments to green transition initiative, and will play an important role in establishing a nationwide retail and service network.
Possible opening of retail outlets
According to VinFast, its strategy aims to open “hundreds of retail outlets” in the abovementioned markets by 2027.
In doing so, it will establish a solid foundation for long-term growth.
Further, its expansion model is designed to be flexible and operationally efficient, integrating dealer networks, service workshops, financial solutions, and energy infrastructure, including collaboration with V-Green for charging and battery-swapping systems.
The company plans to mimic its success in Vietnam, where it was able to sell 406,453 e-scooters, officially securing the leading market share position in its home market.
