The design execution of the Toyota Avanza is much better than its contemporaries. The Japanese automaker has added to the dashboard a unique texture to make the interior look a bit higher. With minimal load, the Avanza pulls itself nicely, but when loaded fully, the 1.5L gasoline engine needs to work a bit harder. Handling-wise, the steering of the Avanza feels too light, to the point that it seems to be a bit numb at the center. It is easy to maneuver on the city streets. However, on mountain passes, you need to take extra care when tackling curves.
