A bit costly and the affordable ones are quite basic
Toyota makes good cars no doubt and even with the basic models, you still get the build quality, performance, and load-bearing capacity you would want. However, the design and the features seem a little off-putting because the lower end models are not that decked out. There are newer brands now that are ensuring lower-end models too get all the features, but Toyota has not delivered on that end. Given I don’t have millions at the moment to get a new pickup, I had to pass on the Hilux, it is really a shame and I hope they update the model soon enough.
