The Toyota Innova received its first major makeover for the second-generation model in 2021, which saw all the variants of this premium MPV receiving the visual updates, including the mid-spec E AT. The Toyota Innova E AT, like all the variants of the newly updated lineup, is available with a diesel engine as standard.

At PHP 1,355,000, the Toyota Innova E AT is positioned just above base J MT (PHP 1,186,000) and E MT (PHP 1,285,000). There are variants more premium over the E AT variant in the Innova’s lineup, including G MT (PHP 1,537,000), G AT (1,607,000) and V AT (1,754,000).

Toyota Innova E AT Engine and Mileage:-

The second-generation Toyota Innova was launched with a 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which continues to do its duty in the Innova lineup, including the E AT variant in question. Coupled to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, the engine in the Toyota Innova E AT makes 174 PS of maximum power and 360 Nm of peak torque output.

The Toyota Innova E AT misses out on most of the modern and latest generation features, most of which are restricted only to the top-spec V AT variant. Nevertheless, the Toyota Innova E AT is still decently equipped with essentials like power-adjustable rearview mirrors, body-colored door handles, and mirrors, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, multi-functional steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth controls, keyless entry, eco and power drive modes, manual AC and a 6.75-inch basic touchscreen infotainment system with 6 speakers. In terms of safety too, the Toyota Innova E AT is decently kitted with basics like dual front and driver knee airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, hill start assist, and vehicle stability control.

While there is no head-on rival to Toyota Innova E AT in its category in the Philippines car market, one can look out for top-spec variants of other smaller compact MPVs like Suzuki Ertiga GLX AT (PHP 998,000), Honda Mobilio RS CVT (PHP 1,085,000) and Mitsubishi Xpander GLS AT (PHP 1,128,000). All these compact MPVs are smaller in size than the Toyota Innova E AT but are definitely better equipped in terms of features.
