Fuel economy is nowhere near what is claimed

I purchased the Honda Navi with the intention that for my daily errands, it would be the ideal pocket-friendly little runabout, but it has hit me differently in reality. The fuel economy is nowhere near what is claimed by Honda. It offers an average of around 78–82 mpg, which is nowhere near the advertised 110. I even drove the Honda Navi super gently, but the range was still very disappointing. I live in an area with elevation, and this two-wheeler couldn’t keep momentum. The brakes are also not confidence-inspiring.
