MANILA: MIAS 2016 is just around the corner and as of now, all the major automobile manufacturers have nodded to make an appearance at this auto event. Along with others, the Japanese automaker Honda is also arriving at the show with its upgraded fleet including the all-new Civic 2016. The company is introducing the U.S. spec model for the Filipino auto market and so the things looked a little bumpy earlier due to some mass recalls over different issues in past couple of months but, the company has not lost its glory yet. To retain its charm and market share in the Philippines auto market, Honda is bringing up the facelifted version of Honda Civic 2016 at the Manila International Auto Show 2016. Revamped face

 

Yes! we believe that external beauty is important; after all that would create the first impression among its prospective customers. So, to give some refreshment to the face, Honda has given a couple of tweaks here and there along with a fresh new face. The new front with thick chrome and all-new sharp headlamps would surely leave an everlasting impact. The new pairs of alloy wheels complement this revamped exterior making it much better than the outgoing model. Though the major changes are at the front, the entire structure looks brand new and catchy.

Bright new color palette

 

To make the refreshed exterior more ravishing, the all-new Honda Civic 2016 is arriving with 6 bright new colors comprising - Cosmic Blue Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Rallye Red, Midnight Burgundy Pearl and White Orchid Pearl. The new color palette is designed keeping the changing interest of the customers in mind. So, when the structure is revised why the colors should be the same. All we would comment is that we are liking this new color splash on Civic 2016!

The NEXT Generation drive

We all know that Honda is committed to providing drives with advanced technologies and sumptuous features. So when it comes to mechanics, a thrill down the spine is what we expect from the new Honda Civic 2016. Here, we are revealing what we know so far on this front. Unlike the U.S. spec model which is arriving with an option of 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre engines, the Filipinos will get a 1.8-litre turbo engine with a capability to knock out 172 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque. Mated with CVT, this engine is engineered to make your drives more power packed.

Honda has never failed in surprising its customers and Civic 2016 is another drive which is surely going to make a mind blowing entry in the Philippines automotive market. With a price tag reading PhP 1.1 million, this drive is a little expensive than the outgoing model but considering all the revisions and advancements, we think the prices are pretty apt.
