8,000 units of the Ford Territory have been sold here

MANILA: Ford Philippines has announced that the Territory has sold a milestone 8,000 units in the country. Achieved last November, the company said this demonstrates the SUV’s continued popularity among Filipino car buyers 15 months after its launch in August last year.

For over a year now, the Territory has been one of Ford Philippines’ best-selling models, with a steady following and increasing popularity among young professionals and growing families looking for an all-in-one small SUV.

The Territory is a feature-packed vehicle that mixes style, technology, and practicality to provide a unique driving experience. It embodies Ford’s design, engineering, and capability DNA while adhering to the company’s highest global quality standards.

As a result of the interest and clamor for the Territory, the Ford Territory Club Philippines (FTCP) was founded. FTCP is a Facebook group with over 15,000 members. In a poll, FTCP members shared their favorite Territory features, and among the top answers are the panoramic moonroof, 360-degree around view monitor, blind spot information system, 10-inch infotainment system, and Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility.

The Territory has also received numerous awards over the past year. It was named as the Car of the Year-Reader’s Choice in Top Gear Philippines Awards 2020. It also won the Value Pick and Family Car awards, dominating the Reader’s Choice category by bagging three out of six awards.

The Territory also received the Consumer Choice Award in the 2020 AutoDeal Awards. Based on customers’ feedback, the Territory got the highest overall score in terms of fuel economy, driving performance, comfort, looks and style, interior features, and interior space.
