The Provincial Government of Bataan received the Radar RD6 Econ 4WD.
  • In a statement, the United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI) shared that it delivered seven examples of the full-electric pickup truck’s top-of-the-line variant that will support the local government’s various operations — including emergency response, disaster preparedness, environmental protection, and on-ground public service.

Held at the 1Bataan Command Center, the turnover ceremony was graced by key provincial and municipal officials, as well as the Radar EV pickup team from the Geely Auto sub-brand's arm in the country.

“These vehicles will strengthen our capability to respond quickly and effectively to the needs of our constituents, especially during emergencies and critical operations,” he said.

For his part, Radar Brand Head Franz Decloedt emphasized the brand’s commitment to supporting government partners in their transition to electrified mobility.

“We are honored to work with the Provincial Government of Bataan, a true leader in sustainable initiatives. We are confident these units will serve the province reliably while contributing to a cleaner, more efficient future,” Decloedt said.

Further, UAAGI said that the turnover highlights the growing role of electric vehicles in public sector operations, as more LGU recognize the long-term economic and environmental benefits of fleet electrification.

“With this latest addition to its fleet, the Bataan Capitol continues to set the standard for progressive, eco-conscious governance—proving that sustainability and public service can move forward together,” the company concluded.

Here are some bits about the Radar RD6 Econ 4WD.

Propelling the vehicle is a pair of electric motors that can deliver the following numbers:

    Maximum output (in horsepower)

    • Front: 134
    • Rear: 241.6

    Peak torque (in Newton-meters)

    485

The mills get their juice from a 73-kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate energy bank that lets the model cover 390 (based on New European Driving Cycle). This can be charged in as fast as 30 minutes.
