CAMPI-TMA sales wane continues in Oct. 2025, YTD churn at 383K

MANILA: Sales performance of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) continues to be in the red in October 2025.

Based on their recent joint report, the two organizations only had a collective retail output of 383,424 units in the first 10 months of the year. The aforementioned volume reflects a 0.2-percent slide compared to the 384,310 examples delivered to clients for the same period in 2024.

Last month alone, CAMPI-TMA sold 40,014 vehicles — growing by 5.2 percent as against the 38,029 units turned over to buyers last September and matching October 2024’s 40,003 sales performance.

Here is the breakdown of CAMPI-TMA’s year-to-date sales for October 2025.

Vehicle sales per category

The commercial vehicle segment continues to drive the two group’s sales with its 305,963-unit retail churn — nearly eight percent higher year on year versus the 283,502 units sold in January-October 2024.

Passenger car sales showed a 23.2-percent dive after year-to-date sales as of the previous month is only 77,461.

Continuously holding the top two positions in the local automotive sales are Toyota Motor Philippines (after selling 185,201 units, which represents 48.30 percent share of the market) and Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (with 72,734 units turned over to clients and taking almost 19-percent market share).

Ford Motor Company Philippines took the third spot with a 18,631-unit retail performance.

Suzuki Philippines went up a notch last month with its 18,295-vehicle sales churn — overtaking Nissan Philippines and its 18,125-unit retail performance.

xEV sales

Amid the decline in overall sales, electrified vehicles (xEV) showed steady growth in January to October of the current year, selling 24,265 units.

For the previous month, this segment experienced a nine-percent rise — handing over 3,603 vehicles in comparison to September 2025’s 2,223 performance.
