Ford PH hailed as top corporate taxpayer in Muntinlupa City

MANILA: Ford Philippines was hailed as the top corporate taxpayer in Muntinlupa City in 2026. This accolade, the company shared, highlights its commitment to responsible business practices and following the tenets of good corporate governance. 

“This important citation is a testament to our commitment to good governance and ethical business operations,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Pedro Simoes said.

“We thank the Muntinlupa City for recognizing our contributions to the city as a responsible company, and we look forward to the continued strong partnership with the local government for many years to come,” Simoes added. 

To note, Ford has consistently earned this title in Muntinlupa City. It was also one of the first to make it to the list of top corporate taxpayers in the said location, a mere year after it relocated its corporate headquarters to Alabang.

Ford PH: latest updates

Apart from being hailed as the top corporate taxpayer in Muntinlupa City, Ford’s global philanthropy arm also deepened its partnership with Gawad Kalinga (GK) by launching the “Building Together: Ford X GK In Action” initiative.

Marking the said occasion is a vehicle donation made by Ford Philanthropy to GK. Specifically, a Ranger Sport 4x4 was turned over by Ford Philanthropy President Mary Culler to Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation Chairman of the Board, Luis Oquiñena.

On a more global stage, Ford gifted Pope Leo XIV a custom-made Explorer Platinum that was made in Chicago - the Pope’s home city. The aforementioned was handed over to the Pope back in February 2026 in a private audience at the Vatican. 

Currently, Ford Philippines is also offering huge discounts for the Bronco, Mustang, Mach-E, and Explorer. The most notable of these promos is a price cut of up to P1.37 million for the Bronco. These offers, however, are only available until March 15, 2026.
