GWM PH strengthens presence with new dealer partners

MANILA: Great Wall Motor (GWM) Philippines, under the stewardship of Luxuriant Automotive Group Incorporated (LAGI), has welcomed two new dealer partners: GTRS Automotive Incorporated and Auto Lucena South Incorporated. 

The former will take care of GWM Tarlac while the latter will head GWM Lucena. 

“These partnerships with GTRS Automotive Inc. and Auto Lucena South Inc. bring us closer to our vision of making GWM vehicles accessible to more Filipinos nationwide,” GWM Philippines Brand Head Dax Avenido was quoted saying. 

“Our growing dealer network not only ensures convenience for customers but also strengthens the trust and confidence in our brand,” he added.

The signing of the two new dealer partners marks another milestone for GWM Philippines’ aggressive expansion program. 

Both dealer locations will feature full service facilities, ensuring that GWM customers in the Central and Southern Luzon will enjoy comprehensive support throughout their ownership journeys. 

“This milestone comes at a time of strong business momentum for the company. In August, GWM Philippines recorded its highest record sales to date since it entered the market representing a 30-percent increase from the previous month. This achievement is driven largely by the sustained demand for the GWM Cannon pickup and underscores the brand’s growing appeal in the market highlighting its strong potential for continued growth in the industry,” the company wrote in a press release. 

“GWM Philippines is poised to further solidify its presence in strategic locations across the country, offering world-class vehicles backed by reliable after sales support,” it added. 

Well on track 

GWM Philippines is well on track within its target, dealership expansion-wise. 

To note, the company’s brand head (sometime in April) told Zigwheels Philippines that the carmaker is looking to become 17 dealership-strong within the year. 

At the time of writing, GWM Philippines shared to the publication that the brand currently has 16 dealerships nationwide.
