Is Subaru Under Plans to Bring 2018 BRZ tS to the US?

MANILA: Who doesn’t remember Subaru BRZ tS, the 300 unit limited model that was launched by the company three years back. Further, seeing its high demand and popularity among the consumers in 2015, Subaru once again decided to launch STI tuned BRZ sT and this time too its production unit was limited to 300. But during all these years one thing remained same, BRZ tS loyalty to Japanese people with it and the car being only limited to the home market.

But with time, things change and every change brings along with it a better future. This time around the US audience is about to get their share of delayed pleasure. We were recently reported that Subaru filled for a ‘BRZ sT’ trademark earlier this year and on 16th of this month United States Patent and Trademark Office registered the same.

What does it indicate? Well, as per market speculations and the vibes currently going around, the BRZ tS nameplate may soon make its way to the US market. Also, as per reports, Subaru Tecnica International is under plans to produce STI-enhanced Subaru models, Forester tS and BRZ tS.

Now, the question arises, what all attributes make the BRZ tS so special and wanted. To the list are included performance enhancers like 18-inch black aluminium wheels wrapped in 225/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport performance tires, tuned suspensions, 17-inch Brembo 2-pot ventilated rear disc brake, and 17-inch Brembo 4-pot ventilated front disc brakes.

On the exterior, the BRZ tS is expected to get STI exclusive fender garnish, front under spoiler, bumper with cheery red color highlights, black shark fin antenna, electric folding mirror and STI badging on the front and rear end.

Likewise, the cabin is expected to carry number of STI-exclusive updates that will not only enhances its looks but will also provide passengers with an unforgettable ride experience. The STI-enhanced BRZ cabin will carry ‘Recaro’ bucket seats, Alcantara speedometer, few STI appearances and red stitching running on seats and steering.

That’s all on Subaru BRZ tS front and only the time will get what Subaru has in stock for the US market.
