Jetour Auto PH, Midori Clark hand over T2 units to 2024 raffle draw winners

MANILA: A total of eight Jetour T2 examples were given to individuals that won in the raffle draw from the recently-concluded partnership with Midori Clark Hotel and Casino.

In a statement, Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated (JAPI) said that the winners brought home their sport utility vehicle examples after their names were drawn during the following dates:

• May 31 and June 1
• July 26 and 27
• September 27 and 28
• November 29-30

The raffle draws served as the follow-up to first-ever collaboration between the two wherein they gave away a pair of Jetour X70 Journey and Dashing crossovers to the property’s patrons and guests for the Mid-Autumn Festival promo.

“Collaborating with such a reputable and prestigious establishment like the Midori Clark Hotel and Casino has been absolutely fruitful for us,” JAPI Managing Director Miguelito Jose was quoted as saying.

“Everyone was a winner in our partnerships. While the Jetour brand was able to expand its market reach and showcase its world-renowned and amazingly engineered vehicles to Midori Clark Hotel and Casino’s discriminating guests and patrons, we at JAPI were able to provide a whole new world of possibilities for the mobility lifestyles for the hotel and casino guests, which motivated the guests to keep on coming back for more of the unique Midori experience, all while they got the chance to be handsomely rewarded with a Jetour vehicle,” he added.

Jose also guaranteed that for this year, the company will enter into more partnerships that would “enhance and expand customer engagement and rewards and foster meaningful connections” with the community.

Vehicle specifications

Unveiled at the Manila International Auto Show 2024, the Jetour T2 is the Chery sub-brand’s behemoth off-roader.

The vehicle measures 4,785 millimeters (mm) long; 2006 mm wide; and 1,880 mm tall with a 2,800-mm wheelbase and 220-mm ground clearance. It has short overhangs and sharp approach and departure angles.

Its beefy design complements the vehicle’s boxy head- and tail lamps, massive fender flares, a pair of huge step boards and roof rails on top of the vehicle’s dome, and large wheels.

Inside, the Jetour T2 welcomes offers leather seats, a flat-top-and-bottom multi-function steering wheel, 10-inch cluster gauge, and 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Moving the SUV is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four turbocharged gasoline engine matched to the Jetour XWD system that automatically switches between two-wheel to four-wheel-drive. It also has an automated limited-slip differential.

The powertrain is said to be capable of dishing out up to 181 horsepower and up to 320 Newton-meters of torque.

Available in Stone Gray, Bora Blue, Techno Black, and Gobi Beige, the all-new Jetour T2 can be had in any of the two variants with the following price tags:

• T2 Beyond: P2.498 million
• T2 Terrain: P2.598 million
