JMC Philippines inks partnership with C&D Motors to expand presence in Nueva Ecija

MANILA: JMC Philippines signed a dealer agreement with C&D Motors, a subsidiary under the Producers Savings Bank Corporation umbrella.

Per the Astara-led Chinese car brand, the newly formed partnership will mark the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at increasing JMC’s profile and expanding its presence in Nueva Ecija. 

“We are thrilled to join forces with C&D Motors, a company that shares our vision for growth and excellence. This partnership will not only strengthen our market presence but will also enable us to deliver more innovative and reliable mobility solutions to customers in Nueva Ecija and neighboring provinces in Central Luzon,” JMC Philippines Director M.J. del Pilar said in a press release. 

According to JMC Philippines, the said partnership is aimed at providing their customers in Central Luzon lasting value as the two entities will bring the company’s offerings — as well as its aftersales services — closer to those who live in the region. 

“This partnership aligns with our mission to expand our consumer banking in the Central Luzon market. We believe that working with JMC Philippines will create new opportunities and provide value to consumers in the region,” C&D Motors Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Andres Cornejo was quoted saying. 

JMC PH truck offerings

At the time of writing, JMC Philippines has two vehicles in its roster: the Vigus and Grand Avenue. 

The former is a commercially-oriented model while the latter comes in as a pickup truck that can answer the passenger car needs of many Filipino customers.

Soon, JMC Philippines will also expand its lineup by adding electric vehicles from its JMEV (Jiangxi Jiangling Group New Energy Vehicle Company Limited) family. 

These will be the JMEV EV2 and EV3, both powered by an all-electric powertrain with a range of 201 and 320 kilometers, respectively. 

JMC has already started to take reservations for its electric cars.
