Lamborghini's newest V12 hypercar will be a track-only offering

MANILA: Lamborghini cars have always been exceptional and ever-ready for races. Even the street-legal models by the Italian automaker are good enough to roar on the tracks, aren't they? But a bit of spice is never too bad either, is it? And, that is where the special limited-edition hypercar by Lamborghini come into the picture. Following the saga,

the Italian auto giant will be launching another hypercar very soon. It will be the Lamborghini Squadra Corse that will build this unique hypercar. Besides, powering the hypercar will be a naturally aspirated V12 engine that will make 830 hp of maximum power.

If you are wondering what else do we know about this upcoming hypercar, well, the abovementioned information is all that is available at the moment. Besides the fact that it will be powered by a naturally aspirated V12, no other information has come out yet. Even the name of the car is a mystery for now. Since it is a V12, this motor is very much the same mill that is found on the Lamborghini Aventador as well. The same motor on the upcoming hypercar will, however, make more power than what produces on the Aventador.

We should also see a fresh carbon-fibre monocoque in conjunction with an aluminium front frame and a steel roll cage for the engine on the track-only hypercar. The gearbox on the Aventador is a six-speed sequential transmission, but time will tell if it is the same transmission that will make its way to the teased hypercar as well.

Moving on to the hypercar's teaser video released by Lamborghini, it is not easy to comprehend much about the vehicle from the short and dark video. From what that could be taken away from the teaser, the upcoming V12 hypercar will not feature headlamps and vaunt Aventador inspired windows and roofline. Other elements on the hypercar include a wedge-shaped front end, roof-mounted intake scoop, large rear wing, and a diffuser. Going by the trend, expect Lamborghini to make a handful of this hypercar.
