MIAS 2019 - What to expect?

Who doesn’t like auto shows? Maybe some in the crowd would raise their hands, but believe us the one scheduled to happen in Manila soon is the next lit place you dare not miss. Well, we are talking about the MIAS Wired that will be opening its gates on the 4th of April, 2019. It’s one of the must-visit show of the year especially if you are a prospective buyer. And not to forget, it would be no less than heaven-on-earth for auto enthusiasts, as the show has so much to offer. Everything under the MIAS roof would revolve around cars, technology, test drive, competition, and more.

Brands to showcase 

When at the show you’ll be greeted by ongoing, upcoming, and concept offering from carmakers like Mitsubishi, Subaru, Volkswagen, Ford, Jeep, MG, Chevrolet, Nissan, Hyundai, Suzuki, Foton, Jaguar, and Kia.

Bands you'll miss 

Though many automakers are participating in the MIAS 2019, there are a few whose fleet would be missing. Included in this small list are the likes of Toyota, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Porsche, Mini, Mazda, and Volvo. In short, premium brands are giving the show a miss. We wonder why?

Car launches

While the recent launches will be up on display for onlookers to see and even book. There are a few car makers who will be revealing brand new cars. Some for sure doing the act is Kia with its new Soluto and also Jeep.

Stunt show 

Adding a hint of spice at the auto show is the Russ Swift stunt show, that like every year in his Subaru car would give an impeccable performance that according to us is a must watch.

Amazing collection display 

Are you a miniature car collector? Well, then the MIAS 2019 is a must visit because on display would be miniature die-cast car collection. Also, there will be 20 years of Land Rover Club and Rainforest challenge special display, and swap meet.

Test drive sessions 

Apart from checking out the latest cars, the auto show will allow prospective buyers to test drive their favourite cars.
Monster truck pavilion - In addition to cars, large trucks and commercial vehicles will also be put on display by some of the country’s leading authority.

Miscellaneous 

Under this section, we would include booths of the Philippines leading aftermarket vendors and competitions comprising of custom and classic cars.
