MIAS 2026: Jetour premium sub-brand Gaia enters PH

MANILA: Jetour Gaia has made its debut at the recently concluded Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2026.

The latest addition to the United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated’s expansive portfolio is the Chinese automaker’s premium sub-brand.

Alongside the launch of the newly introduced brand is the unveiling of its flagship model, the Jetour Gaia G700 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).

Here are some bits about the Jetour Gaia G700.

Vehicle specifications

Powering the newly launched offering is a V12 Performance 2.0TD i-DMO (Intelligent Dual Motor Off-road) engine in plug-in hybrid setup. This drivetrain can accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour from a standstill in 4.6 seconds, as its mill can dish out:

Meanwhile, its PHEV system gives the vehicle an overall range of up to 1,200 kilometers.

Aside from the churn, the Jetour Gaia G700 features a 900-millimeter wading depth, a waterproof engine system, adaptive air suspension (with multi-mode damping and variable height adjustment), 2.5-ton towing capacity, and vehicle-to-load functionality.

Inside, the vehicle has the following creature comforts:

• Four-screen display configuration (35.4-inch Skyline Screen,15.6-inch central high-definition control display, a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted entertainment screen, and an 8.8-inch rear climate control interface)
• 18-speaker Harman Kardon Lexicon sound system with a 900-watt amplifier
• Multi-functional, power-adjustable front seats (eight-way for the driver, four-way for the front passenger; both  with four-way lumbar support)
• Passenger and second-row seats with eight-mode massage functions
• Built-in fragrance system integrated with ambient lighting

Further, the Jetour Gaia G700 has parking assist technologies such as Auto Park Assist supported by 12 ultrasonic radars, which guarantee precise maneuvering in tight spaces. These features are complemented by the 11-airbag system, advanced driver-assistance systems, and a reinforced body structure engineered to withstand up to 15 tons of crush resistance.

Available in Horizon Blue, Frontier Black, and Himalaya White, with interior themes available in Black Technology and Beige Warm, the Jetour Gaia G700 has a starting price of P4.488 million.

The price tag comes with a 10-year engine warranty, a six-year general warranty, and coverage of up to 1,000,000 kilometers.
