Mitsubishi Motors PH creates ‘Support on Standby’ program for flood-affected clients

MANILA: In its bid to help customers severely-affected by the recent typhoons Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) launched its newest flood assistance program.

Called Support on Standby (SOS), the company’s initiative is aimed to ease the cost of restoring the vehicles by lowering the prices of electronics, engine parts, and other systems damaged by the extreme weather.

Starting August 6 until November 11, MMPC offers as much as 30-percent discount for Mitsubishi vehicles exposed to flood-water intrusion. This will be available in all of the brand’s accredited dealerships nationwide.

“This program reflects our strong commitment to supporting our customers during difficult times,” MMPC After Sales Executive Vice President Toko Imai was quoted as saying.

“We understand that our customers rely on their vehicles, not just for convenience, but also for their livelihoods and families. Their trust in Mitsubishi is something we value deeply, and this program is one way we can give back by helping them recover quickly,” he added.

Per MMPC, the price cuts apply exclusively to repairs carried out using genuine parts to ensure safety and quality for all Mitsubishi models officially distributed by MMPC.
