Mitsubishi Surpasses Honda & Ford September Sales Figures

MANILA: Only a few days before we informed you about Honda and Ford's September sales performance and how well they performed. But now according to the latest update from the Philippines auto-world, we now have a ruler over the two players that goes by the name Mitsubishi. Yes, you heard it right, The M-brand stands strong on the number two position, far above Ford and Honda.

Mitsubishi Sales Report in Depth -

• In all the company sold 4,867 units, it’s best ever performance of all times. In short it made history once again, after achieving a whopping sales figure of 4,770 units in August.
• If we look at the year-to-year sales performance, the company has grown 5.9% in comparison to 2014.
• Taking in exact sales numbers, a total of 39,402 units are sold by the company from year beginning till date.
• In September specifically, Mitsubishi sales doubled when compared to the same month last year. It grew by 17.1% to be precise.
• In all the company occupied 19.1% share of the Philippines auto market.
• Sales of light commercial vehicles improved by 12.8%, with 3.122 units sold in total. Star performers being the Mitsubishi Adventure and L300 FB.
• Passenger car sales grew significantly by 32.4% with total 13,002 units sold till date. Star performers in this category being Mirage and Mirage G4.
• Future Target – Mitsubishi aims at a year-end sales figure of 62,000 units with a total market share of 20%.

The company attributes its success to its versatile model line-up that shared a very-well market acceptance since the day of its launch. Also, the company continuous to grab more market share with its mouth-watering promos.
