Omoda, Jaecoo Motor PH add Autohub Group to dealer network

MANILA: Omoda and Jaecoo Motor Philippines has added the Autohub Group of Companies to growing dealer network.

In a statement, the Wuhu-headquartered marque’s local arm formalized its alliance with the aforementioned dealer group as part of its bid to “rapidly establish a strong retail footprint for both brands in key urban centers.”

As part of the agreement, the new dealer partner shall establish three new showrooms under its umbrella. They will be situated at:

• Calamba, Laguna
• North Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA)
• Otis, Manila

According to the automotive marques’ distributor in the country, the dealerships shall provide “comprehensive sales and after-sales services for the complete Omoda and Jaecoo models that will ensure consistent service quality and brand experience across all touchpoints.”

Sealing the agreement were Autohub Group President and Dealer Principal Willy Tee Ten, the President and Omoda and Jaecoo East Asia-Pacific President Hu Chun.

Per the brands’ regional chief, the Philippines serves as a crucial strategic stronghold for our growth in the region. "Partnering with a powerhouse like the Autohub Group, renowned for its extensive network and exceptional service standards, instantly gives us a massive advantage. This is not just a dealer agreement; it’s a commitment to jointly redefine the Filipino automotive experience,” he explained.

According to the Chery-owned automotive brand’s distributor locally, the location of its dealerships under Autohub is meant to create immediate impact and long-term growth by tapping into high-value economic corridors:

• Calamba (Southern Economic Hub): Crucial for regional expansion, Calamba is positioned in the high-growth Southern Luzon area. As a major industrial and residential nexus, Calamba acts as the strategic gateway to consumers outside Metro Manila, capitalizing on the region’s strong economic development and rising consumer wealth.
• North EDSA (Major Retail Corridor): Positioned along the bustling main artery of Metro Manila, this showroom serves the high-consumption markets of Quezon City and northern districts. It captures consumers from a massive demographic and leverages the economic activity driven by major malls and business centers.
• Otis (Urban Commercial Center): This location targets the dense commercial and residential population of the capital. It offers prime visibility and accessibility for core urban consumers, ensuring Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles capture market share in one of the Philippines’ most competitive retail environments.

“The collective impact of these locations underscores a significant capital investment, immediately generating local employment and contributing to the economic vitality of three key regions, signaling Omoda and Jaecoo’s firm commitment to the Philippines' sustained economic growth,” the company added.

To recall, Omoda and Jaecoo Motor Philippines announced its plans of putting up 30 dealerships within the year.
