MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) was given the “Blood Services Platinum Award” by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).

MMPC received the “Blood Services Platinum Award” from the PRC.As shared by Mitsubishi’s local arm, the said award is in recognition of its commitment and continued support of the PRC’s voluntary blood donation. The company has also lent the Red Cross’s national chapter to its mobile blood donation drives.
To be more specific, MMPC, through its initiatives, has already contributed 896 blood units to the PRC in the past five years.
In 2024 alone, the company has contributed 207 bags, which it says is equivalent to 93,150 cubic centimeters (CC) of blood. Due to the said achievement, MMPC was also presented with a “platinum recognition” by the Laguna Chapter of the Red Cross.

Other MMPV CSR initiatives
Apart from its support for the PRC’s blood donation drives, MMPC has several other noteworthy corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that it has commenced recently.
One example is the “Support on Standby” program, which provides up to a 30 percent discount on parts for car owners whose vehicles were negatively affected by inclement weather. The said offer is available until November 11, 2025.

MMPC also donated a total of P100,000 at the 2025 Sikad-Lakad-Takbo Fun Run event, which in turn was held to protect and rehabilitate the Siland-Santa Rosa River. The Mitsubishi XForce was also displayed at the said charity fun run.

Earlier in the year, the company expressed its commitment to education and skills development by donating a selection of vehicles to several academic institutions. A Mitsubishi Mirage and two L300 units were handed over to the Laguna State Polytechnic University - Siniloan campus, Bataan Peninsula State University - Balanga campus, and the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology - GMA campus.
