PH-spec BYD Seagull in Seashell Pink surpasses 70-unit sales target

MANILA: BYD Cars Philippines sales for the limited-edition Seagull in Seashell Pink have breached the company’s original year-end target of 70 units.

Following the latest achievement, the ACMobility-led automotive distributor turned over P770,000 to the Healthway Foundation’s Cancer Care Hope Fund last month—as part of the former’s campaign to support Filipino cancer patients and their families.

Campaign details

The campaign proceeds are intended for the Cancer Care Hope Fund, which provides support to patients at the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital—the first dedicated specialty facility of its kind in the Philippines.

Per BYD Cars Philippines, the donation is aimed at easing the financial burden often associated with cancer care—allowing patients and their families to focus on healing, recovery, and hope for the future.

For his part, Healthway Medical Network President and Chief Executive Officer Jef Peeters expressed gratitude for the support.

“At Healthway, we believe that cancer care goes beyond treatment—it is about caring for the whole patient, including the emotional, financial, and social challenges that come with the journey," he said.

"Through the Cancer Care Hope Fund, this contribution allows us to extend that ‘care beyond cure,’ helping more Filipino patients access timely treatment while easing the burden on their families. Ultimately, it is partnerships like these that enable us to deliver more compassionate, patient-centered care and give patients not just better outcomes, but greater hope," Peeters added.

To recall, the model’s particular trim—as well as the campaign—was launched in July 2025, as part of a “shared commitment to create meaningful impact beyond mobility.”
