Pressure washer, car care items, PMS discounts up for grabs in 'Hyundai Ayos' raffle

MANILA: As part of its 20^th anniversary celebration, Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) has launched its "Hyundai Ayos" raffle promo that gives Hyundai car owners a chance to win car care items and discounts on car maintenance service.

HARI believes that car care is just as important as regular checkups and preventive maintenance service (PMS) appointments. Since cleaning fluids, brushers, and deodorizers can be expensive, HARI enumerated five hacks that will help every car owner take care of their vehicle units:

Keep a makeup brush inside the car.

A fluffy makeup brush can be used to dust air vents before turning on the air-conditioning system.

Use a squeegee to remove pet hair.

Pets tend to leave a bunch of hair on car seats. To remove this, spray a bit of water on the seats and use a squeegee to wipe the hair off.

Put in some cupcake liners on cup holders.

The cup holders on the cabin are kind of hard to clean, so putting in some silicon cupcake liners can help as they will be the ones to catch the dirt. When cleaning time comes, simply pop the liners out, shake them off, rinse them with water, and pop them back in.

Use toothpaste to clean headlights.

The car’s headlights can get gloomy over time, which may cause major visibility issues. Apply some toothpaste on a dry rag and use it to scrub the headlights, then wipe them down with a wet rag.

Reuse a cereal container as a make-shift trash can.

An old plastic cereal container lined with a grocery bag can serve as a make-shift trash can for long drives.

On top of these hacks, HARI also reiterated the importance of visiting a dealership for professional PMS. From August 10 to 20, customers who book an appointment and bring in their Hyundai units for PMS will receive a 20% discount on PMS parts and services, free carwash and 21-point check-up, and free 20^th anniversary golf umbrella.

They will also get a chance to join the Hyundai Ayos raffle promo by filling out the Ayos raffle coupon and dropping it at the designated drop boxes on or before August 21 at 12 p.m. Five winners will receive car care kits, two winners will receive P2,000 worth of PMS discount, and the grand winner will receive a pressure washer.

The raffle winners will be announced on August 31.
