Say “Hello” to the all-new Toyota Camry

MANILA: Last month Toyota teased the images of the all-new Camry and now the car has finally landed at the Detroit Auto Show. With this new launch, the Camry entered in its eighth generation. The improved shoulders and roofline, aggressive front as well as rear fenders, two-piece grille, and slightly lower hood all together highlight the Toyota’s new ‘Keen Look” philosophy.

The new Camry is even sleek from the previous generation and features futuristic headlamps. The sleeker profile helps in better aerodynamics and cuts wind in a much effective manner. It not only has a technical purpose but, it has its impact on the aesthetics as well. The cabin has been redesigned completely with a “high degree’ of personal space. The premium quality material, improved comfort, ergonomics and dynamic dash, all together makes Camry comfortable, sporty and luxurious.

The new Toyota Camry is now equipped with Remote Connect, a feature worth mentioning. This allows the driver to start the car remotely along with the flexibility of receiving features, keep track of fuel levels, maintenance alerts, and other important information. The list of key safety features includes pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, and dynamic radar cruise control.

For the US market, the all-new Camry will be offered with two engine choices. One is a 3.5-litre V6 and the other is a 3.5-litre four cylinder. In addition to these, a next-gen Toyota Hybrid System will be also available.

Though the Camry has been introduced for the US market for now. We would like to see the new generation model in the Philippines as well. But, there is no official word from the company yet about its launch in our country.
