Suzuki Auto Calapan ready to serve

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) has formally expanded its reach in the country with opening of its dealership in Oriental Mindoro.

The creation of the aforementioned establishment was completed about a year after the Japanese automaker’s local arm and Reliance Auto Dynamics Incorporated broke ground in the area as a result of the newly-created collaboration.

In a statement, the Japanese marque’s automotive arm in the country noted that the facility — situated along Kilometer 9 in Puting Tubig, Calapan City — highlights the brand’s commitment to bringing mobility solutions and dependable service closer to Filipino communities.

Per SPH, the newly-inaugurated Suzuki Auto Calapan features a modern showroom capable of displaying up to six vehicles and a fully equipped workshop with 10 service bays, complete with wheel alignment facilities.

The celebration also marked the initial release of units to its first few customers — reflecting the immediate trust and excitement of the community towards the brand.

During the program, SPH Automobile Division Director and General Manager Norihide Takei expressed elation over the recently-forged alliance and excitement to Calapan as a developing hub.

“This dealership is more than a new showroom - it represents our shared vision for partnership, growth, and service to the community. Together with Reliance Auto Dynamics Inc., we look forward to providing reliable mobility solutions and standing By Your Side as the community continues to grow,” he said.

Further, SPH General Manager for Aftersales and Marine Division Yukio Sato underscored the importance of long-term customer care and service quality, noting that the Calapan facility is equipped to deliver comprehensive maintenance support.

“This facility strengthens our after-sales support in Oriental Mindoro. With dedicated service bays and wheel alignment equipment, Suzuki owners here can expect expert care, dependable maintenance, and peace of mind throughout their ownership,” he said.

On the other hand, Reliance Auto Dynamics Incorporated President Kristine Uy highlighted the significance of the said landmark for both the company and the city of Calapan.

“This moment is the culmination of months of planning, dedication, and teamwork - and it marks the beginning of a new journey not just for our business, but for the entire Calapan community.”
