The 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Peeps

MANILA: Like fire in the woods, any and every update can become viral with the help of social media platforms. Same happened with the 2016 Toyota land cruiser facelift which showed its face on Instagram, images uploaded by the name hamad1two3. Half covered, half revealed, this car has created sensation before its actual launch.

Designers have made extensive changes to the front which includes redesigned headlights with LED settings, larger chrome grilles, fresh fog lamps, and new bumper with Land Cruiser written in chrome finishing. The back is more decorated with chrome and carry the same taillights with new LED units. The hood has gained more muscle which gives an overall impression of brawny SUV with a dash of sportiness.

Talking about the engines, it is believed that it will come with 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine which is the new offspring in the GD engine family. At the same time, it is also speculated that it may have a 4.6-liter V8 petrol, 4.5-liter V8 diesel engine, or 5.7-liter V8 petrol mill in the higher variants and will be clubbed with 6-speed automatic transmission.

The SUV no doubt, carries a fresh face but when it comes to interiors, we expect that Toyota will surely give some finishing touches to make it look more posh and refined. There may be new dashboard design with better colors and advanced entertainment system or some additional features to increase comfort and safety.

But as of now, we can only predict. What actually lies inside or under the bonnet will be known, once it comes on roads.
