MANILA: Yes, we are talking about the same Subaru Levorg that landed on the Philippines soil in December, last year. Subaru is one heck of an automaker that acts proactively in the car making business. It's like someone asked it to produce a performance wagon and the company delivered the same in no time.

How do we know it? Well, its very well understood from a series of videos that were recently uploaded by the brand on Youtube, all placed under the title LEVORGExSTI. But these videos don't speak much about the technical specification of the car, restricting themselves to Levorg designing and in-depth discussion between company officials that too in a foreign language, so forget to trace any further information on the same.

Glimpse on its History

As can be guessed, Subaru Levorg STI doesn't have a long history to share. The car first made its appearance as a concept at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon, where it was praised both for its practicality and enhanced design language. And now, Subaru in the coming weeks is about to build the history around this car with its soon to happen launch.

What can we expect under its hood? Like said before, we are short on information on the said subject and likewise we are unaware of the residing powermill. But going by the words of industry insiders, Levorg STI will house an FA20 2.0L turbo cylinder mill, same mill featuring in Impreza WRX STI.

How extreme is its exterior?

Well, it seems that Subaru Levorg STI is sharing heavy resemblance with its concept sibling that was recently unveiled in Japan. And believe us, it's a great news as the concept features some never seen before design language. So get ready to see some bold artwork on the front bumper, fenders, side skirts and rear air diffuser. One more thing that can be traced from its dark teaser image is a roof-mounted spoiler, adding layers to its muscularity.

Does its interior follow its bold personality?

Oh yes, no doubt in that. Though pictures of its interior are not yet revealed, but according to industry insiders, its cabin too is dipped in the sporty solution. It is expected to come fitted with sporty seats, an STI dedicated instrument binnacle and equally powerful centre console and tunnel. Being a wagon, no questions should be raised on its trunk capacity and just like the GT-S version, it is expected to be equally generous.
