Toyota Philippines assures to meet 2018 Rush demand on time

MANILA: Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Rush are the two names around which most of the auto news in the Philippines revolve these days. Last month, after Mitsubishi Xpander launch, we heard problem within its supply and demand chain. And now with the recent launch of 2018 Rush, Toyota comes out open on new SUVs timely availability.

Like the Xpander, the Rush is also manufactured in Indonesia. And in the Philippines, the two SUVs are available as export units. Clearing the doubts of journalists and crowd present at the 2018 Rush launch event, Toyota’s Senior Vice President, Mr Jing Atienza said, We have no issues with supply of units from Indonesia. Since the Rush is intended to be a model that will be marketed in other regions like South America and Africa, Toyota had anticipated the demand.”

As per the recent market analysis, the all-new Toyota Rush is fast hitting significant reservation numbers. Apart from stunning design and crisp performance, the Rush also carries the tag of most affordable Toyota SUV currently available.

The new Rush is in high demand in Indonesia, and that’s one of the reasons why many are suspecting its stainless supply in the country. On this matter, Mr Atienza said that the company is initially targeting to supply a thousand units every month to the dealerships in the Philippines. He further said that units have already been sent to the dealerships and all at Toyota are happy to see the response.

In the past, whenever a Toyota car attained popularity in the market, one would often see long lines outside dealerships. Now with Toyota’s commitment on Rush smooth supply, will we see happy customers driving home new Rush or same frustrated faces waiting for delivery?
