V-Green introduces EV charging station partnership model in PH

MANILA: The V-Green Global Charging Station Development JSC, a company established by VinFast's founder, Pham Nhat Vuong, has introduced its electric vehicle (EV) charging station partnership model for the Philippine market. 

As hinted by the name of its model, V-Green is open to working together with property owners to install EV charging stations nationwide.

The huge advantage of this system, according to V-Green, is that it will supply all the necessary equipment, as well as installation works, with no up-front costs. The aforementioned includes 24/7 operation and maintenance, as well as the three-phase electric connection, which is essential for faster and more efficient EV charging. 

Additionally, V-Green states that its EV charging station model will enable partners to capitalize on their “underutilized real estate.” The model, after all, also works on a five-year lease with profit sharing between the Vietnamese company and the property owner. 

“We believe that EV charging stations will become a standard feature across all types of real estate developments in the Philippines within the next five years,” Chief Executive Officer of V-Green Philippines Luu Viet Hung said. 

“With our flexible business model and advanced technological platform, V-Gree is committed to working hand-in-hand with local partners to deliver smart EV charging infrastructure - a solution that not only enhances property value but also drives the country’s transition toward a greener future,” Hung added. 

Apart from the partnership model for property owners, V-Green is also set to introduce a franchise EV charging setup in the Philippines. According to the company, this model is the one that brought it success in Vietnam, where it already has over 150,000 charging ports. 

For the moment, however, V-Green has not shared a timeframe for its EV charging franchise model, but the company says that more information and details will be announced soon. 

VinFast in the Philippines

Currently, VinFast has a growing lineup of all-electric vehicles in the local market, which includes the following: 

• VF 3
• VF 5
• VF 9
• VF 7
• VF 6

The latest among its offerings is the VF 6 - a compact crossover introduced at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show. 

Just last month, another company founded by Pham Nhat Vuong, the Green and Smart Mobility (GSM) taxi service, officially launched locally. 

Meanwhile, VinFast Philippines has also announced the expansion of its service network through partnerships with Bosch Car Service and Rapidé.
