You can take home a 2019 Toyota Camry for Php 1.8 million

MANILA: It is here, finally! We have the 2019 Toyota Camry on sale now and the sedan comes with some gorgeous looks, a new engine, more features, and rides on a new platform altogether. TMP (Toyota Motor Philippines) after all the wait and excitement has revealed the specs and prices of the 2019 Camry in the country.

Our 2019 Camry takes its design cues from the Camry that is already available in Thailand. As a matter of fact, the styling of the Thailand specific Camry is also inspired by the Japanese Camry. The new Camry packs in a lot of subtle curves and creases, and as we have always said, curves are good, right? The front fascia of the new sedan features a striking grille flanked by slimmer headlamp units. At the rear, there is a new trunk lip spoiler. Also, present are the wrap-around style LED taillamps. There are horizontally stacked reflectors at the bottom on either end of the rear bumper.

Talking about variants, the Philippines-specific Camry is offered in two different trims. First is the 2.5 G and the second has been named as the 2.5 V. Move inside the 2019 Toyota Camry and you will find a blend of wood, leather, and gloss black elements. The gear lever is now much closer to the driver and both the driver and the passenger seats at the front are power-adjustable.

The centre console on the new Camry has been designed to make it more driver-centric. New features on the 2019 Camry include a head-up display, a touch panel in the armrest with a/c, audio, and seat controls. Also, there is a tri-zone automatic climate control system on the all-new sedan.

The new Camry has done away with the old V6 engine and now gets a 2.5-litre mill with more power and improved thermal efficiency. The motor with same as before displacement now pumps out 184 PS (178 PS previously) of maximum power and a peak torque of 231 Nm. The power generated is then delivered to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes are also available on the 2.5 V variant. The two variants 2.5 G and 2.5 V have been priced at Php 1,806,000 and Php 1,992,000 respectively. However, if you like the White Pearl finish, you gotta spend Php 15,000 more.
