Here are the all-new Yamaha Aerox's available colors

Not too long ago, Yamaha Motor Philippines rolled out the latest iteration of the sporty Aerox maxi scooter.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What powers the all-new Yamaha Aerox?

The all-new Yamaha Aerox is powered by a 155 cc engine that makes 15 horses.
  • How many variants does the all-new Yamaha Aerox have?

The all-new Yamaha Aerox is available in two variants, Standard and SP.
  • The nameplate is now touted as a more performance-oriented model after dropping the Mio moniker, and is aimed at the adrenaline-seeking customer segment who are in the market for a capable ride that can provide them a spirited experience for daily commutes as well as for when they take on spontaneous adventures during the weekend.

On that note, here are the available colors for the all-new Yamaha Aerox, to help hopeful motorcycle enthusiasts find the right hue to suit their style. Luckily, these colors also represent some of the notable features offered by the sporty maxi-scoot, so without further ado, let’s dive into the motorcycle’s striking paintwork.

    Race Blue

Race Blue is the poster paintwork for the Standard version of the all-new Yamaha Aerox. Those who have been following the brand will know that blue has been a part of the company’s identity and is the color worn by the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team. Some sporty DNA from the latter can be found on the new motorcycle, which we have listed below:

    • Forged carbon fiber trims under the headlight, on portions of the inner fairings
    • Aggressive-looking headlamp, taillight
    • 14-inch wheels with “superwide” tubeless tires
    • Disc brakes, front and back
    • Digital instrument cluster

Aside from a sporty look, the all-new Mio Aerox uses a capable engine that not only prioritizes power but is also economical.

Providing propulsion to the automatic scooter is the refined 155 cubic-centimeter Yamaha Blue Core engine that makes the following figures:

    Maximum power output (in horsepower)

    15

    Maximum torque (in Newton-meters)

    14.2

The above numbers ensure riders that the all-new Yamaha Aerox not only takes them from point A to point B, but also provides them with some level of excitement whenever they squeeze the throttle.

    Matte Blue

The Matte Blue color is exclusive only to the all-new Yamaha Aerox SP variant. This trim takes the motorcycle’s sportiness up a notch, not only with a sharper look but also with additional features that make one’s time atop the saddle more dynamic.

First, let’s look at its exclusive exterior appointments:

    • Unique “SP” badge on outer fairings
    • Red accents under the headlight, on portions of the inner fairings
    • Red stitching on seat with “Aerox” script
    • Red wheels
    • Disc brakes, front and back
    • Rear suspension with sub-tank
    • “Supersport-inspired” cockpit (instrument panel)

In the performance level, the all-new Yamaha Aerox SP is equipped with the three-level downshift control system we first saw on the NMax Tech Max. Zigwheels Philippines’ Online Content Manager was able to try out the maxi scooter, you can check the article “First ride: Yamaha NMax Tech Max,” to read his thoughts about the model.

What this does is it allows the rider to choose between three shift levels to tailor their deceleration and throttle response.

This means that those riding the all-new Yamaha Aerox SP can have a similar feel to when one downshifts to get quick bursts of power or controlled braking when taking on sharp corners.

In addition, the range-topping trim also gets two riding modes (Sport and Touring) that will let the all-new Yamaha Aerox SP provide a more suitable output based on the type of ride they are taking on.

The Sport Mode is ideal for those adrenaline-fueled rides, while the Touring Mode is good for relaxed, longer journeys.

Other notable features offered by the all-new Yamaha Aerox SP include built-in turn-by-turn navigation and a track display mode, which records lap times, among others.

    Glaze Blue

Despite the “blue” in its name, the Glaze Blue finish for the all-new Yamaha Aerox is more white. On top of looking immaculately clean, the automatic scooter in the said paintwork offers good visibility and road presence. This makes the motorbike a good pick for those who value safety above all else.

Speaking of safety, the all-new Yamaha Aerox is equipped with the below features:

    • Reliable backbone frame
    • Telescopic front fork
    • Unit swing rear suspension
    • Good illumination system for better visibility
    • Anti-lock braking (available only in SP variant)
    • Traction control system (available only in SP variant)
    • Emergency stop signal (available only in SP variant)

    Yamaha Black

Finally, those who want a sleek-looking ride will find what they need in the blacked-out colorway of the all-new Yamaha Aerox. The mixture of sheen fairings and matte claddings gives the motorcycle a beautiful look with contrasting surfaces made cohesive by a single hue.

Not only does this make the bike look good, but also really modern. And while we are on the topic of modern features, the all-new Yamaha Aerox allows owners to integrate their smartphones with their rides via the Yamaha Y-Connect feature.

Through the said technology, those who use the all-new Yamaha Aerox can get information about their fuel economy, engine diagnostics, battery status, and even get maintenance reminders, as well as have a look at their last parking location.

This takes Yamaha motorcycle ownership on a new level as it keeps riders informed and ahead, offering peace of mind and a seamless tech-enhanced experience.

In addition, the all-new Yamaha Aerox also gets the following features:

    • Electric power socket for charging devices
    • Keyless ignition (available only in SP variant)
    • Stop and start system (available only in SP variant)
