Cebu City gets a new flagship Yamaha store
MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) inaugurated a new store in Cebu City last weekend, located along General Maxilom Avenue. Dubbed as ‘RevZone’, the new store is a flagship facility in the Queen City of the South.
The inauguration ceremony saw the ever-charming, Joyce Pring, as the host while the morning was filled with live music that elated everyone’s mood. An exclusive bike building contest was also organized among local Yamaha riders’ clubs.
The bouncy mascot Revvybear made a special appearance at the arena, which is structured on the similar lines as the Yamaha YZone. Special and dedicated areas are given to different-styled motorcycles from the portfolio of the iconic brand like a corner is dedicated to the off-roader, the XTZ125 while the ‘Max’ line of scooters gets a flashy central platform.
Additionally, the MT-Series of bikes, XSR900 and SR400 get a chic section, the Super Ténéré gets a rugged section design and the ‘R’ performance bikes get a wide, open display. Last but not the least, the everyday commuters get a place upstairs.
The modernized look of the new facility is similar to the YZone at Greenfield District, with a lot of customer-friendly features. The facility’s customer lounge offers free WiFi, coffee and charging slots, which are placed right in front of the service bay. The customers can relax and enjoy every sip of their coffee while their bikes get serviced by the professionals at the new Yamaha facility.
Toru Osugi, the company president of YMPH, was also present at the event who, along with his colleagues, praised and complemented the glorious R1 supersport bike. The event concluded with a bike night, with food, drinks, and music all around.
Having opened the first RevZone of the country, DES marketing now has a total of 56 Yamaha stores under its belt.
