Honda PH throws support to 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship tourney

MANILA: Honda Philippines, Incorporated (HPI) is one of the sponsors of the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship (VMWC).

In a statement, the company said that as part of the sponsorship deal, the leading motorcycle distributor in the country said that it will showcase the following models in the tournament:

• All-new PCX160
• All-New NAVi
• Winner X

“Honda is proud to be part of this global stage, reinforcing its commitment to inspire the youth while embracing the passion, energy, and excellence that world-class volleyball represents,” the company said in a press release.

Bringing together the world’s top national teams to Manila, the aforementioned sporting event is set on September 12-28, 2025. This will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City as well as Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Ahead of the championship, HPI has already conducted activities that included:

• Official kick-off event at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall last August 13
• Road tour activity in SM Seaside Cebu (August 16), SM Laoag City (August 23), and SM Cagayan de Oro Premiere (August 30).

Per HPI the event is the first time that a Southeast Asian country will serve as host for FIVB VMWC — making HPI’s participation more meaningful. “The featured motorcycles are not just products, but a symbol of freedom, endurance, and innovation—values that resonate strongly with the on-ground volleyball action,” the firm claimed.

“Honda is honored to be part of this historic moment in Philippine sports. Just like the world-class athletes competing in this tournament, we at Honda Philippines are continually striving to inspire and empower the youth with advanced, safe, and innovative mobility solutions,” HPI Motorcycle Planning Department Manager Apple Magaling was quoted as saying.
