MANILA: Extending the GSX and V-Storm lineup, the Japanese manufacturer has finally revealed the GSX250R and V-Storm 250 for the Philippines market. Both the bikes share their styling attributes with their elder siblings in the lineup and are built on the same platform. As the nomenclature suggests, these bikes will be featuring a 248cc parallel-twin engine, producing a maximum power output of 25 PS. The two motorcycles are equipped with a traditional fork, which is further accompanied with steel swingarm and a rear single damper. Just like their elder siblings, these bikes might also get ABS as standard to improve the overall riding experience.

In the GSX250R, the rider seat and the passenger seat are two different units while in the V-Storm 250 it has a large combined seat with a pannier perch. Both these bikes will target the customers who are looking to spice up their ride with style and power but, in a slightly lower budget frame. Initially, these two bikes from Suzuki will be offered only in the Asian markets with the Philippines might getting it by next year and later, these can be offered in the European markets as well to enhance the overall market share of the company.
